here are some pics I took today I have not been home to update you guys in a few months so I took a few some this afternoon it was a bit cloudy and humid though.
This is the whole flock in the next few weeks I will probably be getting 2-3 11 week old Barred rock and EE pullets to grow up and then add!
In this picture I am being atacked by a delaware !
The garden is over grown and producing: eggplants, squash, over 8 varities of tomatoes, herbs, bush beans, pole beans, carrots, cukes, zukes, nastursiums and rasberries! I planted this week: Summer tolerant lettuce, beets, and chard ! Next week I will remove all the beans and trim the squash and cukes back and plant: radishes, more beets, and broccoli !
So the garden is great !
Here are the large tomtoes we have: Brandywine, German Pink, Yellow Zebra, Mr.Stripey, Cherry, Grape, Beefstake, Pear, and another heirloom vareity whose name escapes me!
Here is a nastursium and edible flower great in salads !
Yum!
And here is a picture of me last fall with the first pullets in the old chicken tractor how we have changed! I lost 25lbs and the flock gained 25lbs LOL
Thanks for looking,
Henry
