My friend has a few 6-week-old EEs and I'm allowed to pick one out and integrate it into our flock of Polish.

Shouldn't be a problem. I have that all worked out. Please post pictures of you 6-week-olds if you are SURE of their genders. I'm going to attempt to pick out the one with the smallest and lightest comb in her group. But I'd like something to compare to.

Mods, I know there are alot of EE threads out there but I'm looking for a specific age group. If you can let just another EE thread slide, I'd be grateful.

(Oh, and if this doesn't belong here, can it be moved? I didn't know just where to put it.)

Mine are about 8 weeks now. I guess too late. I don't think I have pics of him from that time... I can say that at 6 weeks, that was when I started suspecting the rooster of being a rooster. He had a thicker comb (since it's a pea comb, it was thicker instead of taller). Also, his wings were bulkier than the girl's. It was like he had on shoulder pads. He still has that look, but more. He also started having a thicker neck.

I hope that helps, although I couldn't provide pics

That does help.

Lol, I thought I was going to have to bump up my thread.

I've never had EEs before, do you know if pullets can have pink combs at this time, too? My friend has about 50-something chicks and a good amount of them already have big, pink and red combs! I'm trying to remember what I saw that I can already poof from my choices.

Mine I purchased from the feed store on April 4th. This picture was taken on May 23rd. I hope this helps.

Mine are pullets.
