for those of you who wonder what your first hatch should be looking like.
This is a healthy 3 day banty egg.

this is a blood ring... may you never see one, but if you incubate enough, you will.

ok so what if there is no blood ring and the vains all look good but the chick isnt moving or you cant see movment is the chick still ok?

As long as you can see veins, and the spot in the center of the egg, you are fine. They don't always move a whole lot very early on. I set mine last friday night and today was the first time I could see them moving really good. But when the die, you wont see the veins anymore. All the blood gets to the outside edges of the center, that's the blood ring.
