I have recently bought a Roue Duck, Buff Duck, and a Blue Swedish Duck. Any Pics, or info about any of these ducks would be nice!

My Exhibition Rouens - quiet birds that rest a lot and dont forage very much. Only 2010 birds so still some growing to do but also dont fly off

pete, maybe a long shot here but do you know of anyone breeding exhibition rouens in the U.S. ?

Im sorry, I cant help you there. These were from John Hall, a well respected waterfowl breeder and shower in the UK. He won the Best of Breed with his Rouen female at last years National Championship show. Our female is her daughter.

When I looked at the pictures of the Rouens in the States I thought they didnt have as well developed keels. I think of them as the Dewlaps of the duck world

Ya the only thing i have found around here is the "production" bred rouens.

Hmm, thanks, good to know there around. I would like to have some but i'm going to be birded out with the next month or so with 40+

Will try to remember to take a picture of my buffs tomorrow, they aren't 100 percent feathered out, and the male doesn't have the drake feathers yet, but will give you a good idea of the juvenile phase.
