for tamp adjustment you can get a little screw in dimmer from walmart for about $6, thats what i picked up today and it seems to be working well, only had it set up for a few hours though.

I'd be nervous using the equi-fresh... as they get bigger they might try to eat the large chunks... and as it breaks down into TINY sawdust particles they can easily ingest that...

I LOVE it for my horse stalls !!! but it has a lot of potential dangers for a curious chick...

Looks good though

My only other suggestion would be to make sure you keep the water'er off the wall like it is in the photo (it's easy for them to get stuck between the wall/water if it's really close and they can drown or exhaust themselves).
