    Check out my babies [​IMG] Out of 14 eggs I got 9 silkies and 2 faverolles - 3 silkies didn't hatch. Thanks for looking!

    Pic #3, the one on the right - what a proud little chicken that is!!! that is too cute. Silkies are my dream. I want some so badly!

    Favs are pretty easy to sex anyway by the time they are a week or two.The girls won't get those dark wing feathers and males will primarily be dark.


    They are so cute...Cindy


    ETA: I've read that not all birds can be wing feather sexed...I look at some of my larger ones when they hatch but still can't tell.

    Hey looks like you might have a pair of favs I just lost one of my faverolles to a dog attack and I may end up getting more of hatching some if I don't decide to get what the local breeders have (which is really cool) !

    if wing sexing works for them the first is a roo because quills are straight second is a pullet because quills are uneven. Dont know if it works with those but if it does that is what you have,

    Can you say AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! They are so sweet. I am getting empty brooder syndrom! Ught oh! I need some of those Silkies too![​IMG]
