Just checking if anyone notices any roos. I paid for all females & my neighbor doesn't want me to have any roosters. I'm having some aggression problems with the Plymouth Rocks. They're 6 weeks old.

Just curious not tryin sound jerky.. but why does it matter what the neighbor wants you to have if you are the one takin care of the birds?
I'm just trying to keep the peace. They're our only neighbor, we're surrounded by farm land everywhere else. They're close enough that a rooster would be heard pretty well & I guess they don't want to get woke up. It's fine with me though, i'm not looking to fertilize any eggs or get woke up either, lol.

my female barred rock is the same way. She and my gold laced Wyandotte are running things with my younger flock right now. The minute somebody's back is turned (and I swear they wait for it) they will run from across the run to pounce on somebody else and make them squawk. Usually each other.

I had to give a chuckle, aside from your RIR and your Orpingtons, it looks like we have a similar flock. I also have a BR, a Buckeye and a Wyandotte.
