Victoria, my EE hen (pining for Albert the roo) is clean-faced, lays pale blue-green eggs, she is either silver-laced or silver-penciled (just like Lacey) .. pretty girl ! - and she seems to have NO idea about laying eggs in a nest, she just lets them drop wherever she happens to be ... and she won't stay in coop, insists on being free-range

my feeling is, many EEs are clean faced, it's the Ameraucanas with beards and muffs ...

Even Ameraucanas can be clean faced, a definite fault, but all we saw was a headshot at first, which appeared more like a Buff Brahma than anything else.
I also have a silly diva of a hen who lays her egg in the middle of the floor then on occasion she'll sit on a nest afterward, LOL. Goofy things!
