Pics of our Chicken/Duck coop!

We are fairly new to chicken & ducks, but our son brought a baby chick home with him this past spring from school and that one little chick started it all!

I took my 2 boys to the local farm store and we got 3 more chickens and 2 ducks. My husband began building their coop from plans he had found here on the BYC site! We took one design from a member and then changed it just a bit to fit our budget. (BTW: I'm gonna have to find that member and thank him personally for a great coop design!)

Our coop was finished mid-June and so far have yet to lose any of our "babies". Yes, they are spoiled & of course they all have names!!!

Just thought I would post some pics for everyone to see! But can't seem to figure out how to posts pics here???

If you go to the uploads tab you can upload photographs to your own storage. They will be saved with two choices of links - to either a full sized picture or a thumbnail. You copy which ever link you want to use and paste it into your post. You can have two tabs of BYC open at once to make this copying and pasting easier. I know there's demo somewhere in here but I can't remember where!

Beautiful job! It amazes me how many people have modeled their coop after this design. It's simple, functional, and attractive.
