Actually their not really chicks anymore, but it rhymed. The silver laced Wyendottes are a little over a year old and the Rhode Island reds are about four months old. I've been putting them all in a large dog kennel during the day so they can get used to each other before I put them all in the tractor. So far, so good. I haven't seen any pecking...but the reds give plenty of space to the big girls.
