Does every silkie roo do that dance around there hens on one foot before they do there thing? My new roo does the same thing but then he just stops. Is it kinda like a hen getting used to place before they lay?

Lt. Cmmdr. Worf. aka Mr Woof, 3 year old my kids bought from a 4H'er at a RareBreedsConservancy show in Maple Park, IL. We've seen some of his siblings, they look like clones!

This is Mr. Woof when we still called him "Peeps", only about a year old with all that fluff (he lost in a bad fight with his first son):

Oh! The Chicken Dance!
Sometimes its just a very delighted "Hello". their vision is somewhat limited, so maybe everytime they catch sight of somebody else they get all excited and dance about it.

This guy looks just like his daddy and his daddy produces some really nice lavender offspring, so I am hoping for the same from this one. This young guy actually looks alot better than his daddy did at this age. They do have some off colors in their hackles and wings, but they are not throwing those colors in their lavender offspring. They throw large crest and tons of foot feathering.

This is his lavender brother sired by my Roosters father.
