Oh my gosh, Writer! You must have magic chicken skills!

Wish my chickens would settle in so well with each other instead of being so naughty and mean right now....

I am so happy for all involved that the rehoming seems to have gone so well. Been keeping up with the other updates in the other threads. This was one very nice thing for you to do, WriterofWords!

Do keep us posted.

I think it's the general attitude around my land, you either get along or go away lol,, no, I don't know really, but they are all raised to get along with each other and to accept new animals regularly.

and their REALLY used to it,, it was always a circle here lol. but my regulars stayed in their pens all the time, and the chicks would go from each 1. Handheld + stoogie got the babies first, till about 3 months old, then they moved into POPcorns and Lissa-hens pen, till they start laying,, roo's usually stayed until i decided to breed or sell, but by 7 months, the roo's would either be in their own pen, or stay there with POPcorn till sold. so their pretty tolerant of others, and ole poppers will teach the young roo's VERY well, he always has, i think thats why soooo many people round this area wanted my roo's,, lol,, or they were jus senile hehe.
and they all got the "talk" about manners, and exactly what WoW is saving them from

Doodle Do is totally beeeeeyoutiful
I'd have never guessed that was tink. She's hardly bigger LOL but. . has feathers!

Oh my goodness, thats 1 huge lot of babies. I can pick the BLR orphans (Marylexacins?) out of the bunch. They still have fuzzybutts! Their east coast sibs are all feathery.
Hee hee, writer- did you realize you were coming back with so many? Just imagine what you'd have brought home if Steven wasn't with you - you'd have room for 20 more LOL
Ohh, I wont be telling my babies that y'all are having sunny 70 degree days- it's been windy and 30 here. The babies are sunning under the heat lamp LOL.
I love the pictures. You adopted a bunch ( and I mean a BUNCH) of beautiful birds.

I don't think I was expecting quite that many,, lol, good thing I have a big place! It was 76 today, supposed to be 82 tomorrow and 85 Wed! I don't want to think of what Summer is going bring.

LOL.. the only way my chicks will see 80 is if they get right under the heat lamp- if I lower it.
But, if that is Feb temps.. wo, I'd hate to see what happens in July.

Writer, when are you going to introduce my boys to your girls? Tinker, Dapper Dan, and Marlon Brando?

Or are you afraid your girls will kick my spoiled boys butts?
