I have a king quail chick who is 15 days old now. They just grow up too fast.

I think these dorks have been watching me lay in bed, that is NOT proper birdy sleeping position. I suppose it's cute that their copying me.
(And yes she is fine, they do this quite a bit accompanied by luxurious leg and wing stretches)

We call that "dead bird" pose, and first time quail owners always panic when they see it. I know I sure did!

Our chicks are a week old and just started sleeping like that today. Funny birds!
