Mine's not fancy, it's just a dog kennel attached to the side of my barn.

we were in a hurry and can't really finish the roof (pull tighter) and enclose a corner for rainy days until our weather gets better this spring. As you can see one side is the coop wall and then it butts up to the other wing of the barn where I have another pen of chickens that are separate. They just share a wall and the rooster call stink on each other each morning. The side walls are all a fairly heavy wire mesh small squares and the roof is plastic mesh that has held up really well. this run is for 7 hens and the rooster.

Here is my run. It is a 10x20 dog run with extra panels on the top. I will be adding a shade cloth this summer.

Here's mine. A friend of mine had this carport out to the side of his driveway of the new house he bought a few months earlier. I was driving by one morning and saw him and stopped to find out he was about to tear it down so he could build a real garage attached to the house. He was going to call the metal salvage guy to come and get it. Well, I didn't hesitate a moment and got it taken apart and put back up on my backyard. I moved my coop from the old run where I was having drainage problems and put it in the back of it and enclosed it with chicken wire and viola!!! Before winter set in we covered the sides and back with large tarps that I fastened to the metal posts with machine screws and washers to make a great windbreak. The Gals love it and it kept them dry and happy all winter. This pic was taken the day after tropical storm IDA blew through the Carolinas in October leaving 4 or 5 days of heavy rain but the Gals stayed dry and were even seen to be sand bathing that day.
