Day 20. I am hoping for some sign from them. I did take my MP3 player out and record Sir Roo crowing and "the girls" chattering this morning. Once my DDs get up I'm going to play that to the chicks and see if I get a response.

Day 20 and nothing yet either here...

Are the Welsummer and Ameracauna shells thicker? They seem like they might be...

Kitty... here's hoping! I'm at work and trying to keep my mind off those eggs!

All that happened was two girls fighting for who gets to be where while it was playing! I'm going to try again later, without the DDs.

I'm beginning to think that my hygrometer/thermometer has gone crazy. It could be a battery issue. The humidity was reading low so I added water and ended up with moisture on the lid. The hygrometer never went up!

My question is do I open the hatcher up and put in a different one or do I leave it? It is day 20 so it should be locked down but, now I can't trust the humidity reading. What to do?

What does your hygrometer say? Mine says about 67% and I have a little bit of condensation on the corners of my windows - is this a really bad thing?
