She has had blood-smeared (smallish, she's young so her eggs are still on the smaller side) eggs for the past two days, has much more brown stuff in the feathers below her vent and its matting her feathers and smells more unpleasant than just poopy. She's walking around, drinking, eating as far as I can tell - but when I've looked at her vent area there is usually dried blood and a bit of fresh blood and it looks like there is a string that I could try to pull out from inside her vent - but it seems like an internal organ, like a piece of deflated intestine or membrane or something. Is this a prolapse? She's only 11 months old and seems to be walking funny. Not eggbound because she has laid eggs the past 2 days. Any thought? Suggestions?
Thank you!!!!
