Starting to think I preferred it when my big ducks hated me! I've been giving them loads of mealworms the past few days to say sorry for rehoming their boyfriend and now they follow me everywhere! Was picking up a dirty duck bath today to top out and Josie suddenly was right under my feet and I didn't want to stand on her so had to quickly stop. The water pushed forward and then splashed back and went all down my legs and wellies! Wasn't amused!

Congrats Lacey on your first egg. That is always exciting news. I had to laugh at the spill now they are underfoot. My ducks don't get that close but my chickens stand right in front of me. Josie might be glad Jeremy is gone.

I had to catch an escapee a little while ago. One of my easter egger chickens squeezed out the gate and went next door. They always seem to figure a way out but they can't get back in. I finally had to bribe her with a can of corn to catch her.

Looks like Lacey duck has got competition for her man! Josie the indian runner has decided she like Daffy and Daffy likes her back! Think all the ducks would come together as one if Lacey liked the big girls but she doesn't! Wish I had my usual phone so I could have video'd it all because it was amusing!

How could Daffy look twice at Josie when he has the precious Lacey? Daffy might be living up to his name if he is two timing Lacey.

Haha Josie is lovely! But so is Lacey. Just wish Lacey wasnt so scared of big girls and then they could be one big family!

Josie is lovely I agree but Lacey is gorgeous.

My ducks were in two groups for years. When I finally got them to all go in the same coop at night they come togeather. Now I have one big group. Lacey sleeps with the chickens doesn't she? That might be why she considers herself different from the other ducks and doesn't want to be friends.

I've never read the book 3goodeggs but it sounds like a good one if it's about ducks.
