Alices tail is coming back nicely
Spot the chucks and ducks
So for the past few weeks Lacey has been going missing for a day or two and then coming back for a day. She's never been acting broody up until today when she was waiting for me outside the feed shed after being missing for 3 days. Well I think she's acting broody anyways. I've searched for her nest for hours but can never find her. So looks like there could be baby Lacey's after all because I can't stop her! I think she's sitting in someone else's field, she seems to be resting a lot today so it must be a long walk, so not sure when she'll go back but she can't be off them for a full day if she's properly broody now.
Well I've just been back up to the hens and Lacey is still off her eggs. Decided to look back in the basic places and came across a nest of eggs in an old wooden cage. They are Josie the Indian runners though. There was 21 in total. When I went to get the bucket to collect Josies eggs I saw an egg under the reshes which turned out to be another duck nest. This one has to be Lacey ducks but whether it's her current or old nest I don't know. She has nine so I will see if that's hers. I've been looking for these two nests for ages, in my field, and another two fields and the whole time they've been right under my nose! Will scramble all Josies eggs and feed them back to the chickens
. The eggs weren't Lacey's in the end!! Still no Idea where she is sitting!!!

Where ever I go they always want to come with me!

Someone's not happy to see the snow is back...
