Picture thread of my hens!

Was supposed to post yesterday:
Drove to the hens and made it (crashed my car on Monday going up that way)! Have put their waterer in the pen as it's too wet in there for the snow to lay. They have nice warm water and lots of corn :)

SNOW!!! UK in snow! I know you see it all the time, but my mind made all of these pictures in my head from all the books I have read, I love seeing it for real. The authors must have done a good job describing it. Redwall, best ever.

Oh, and sorry about your car. I hope you are alright ...and the damages were minimal?

Haha its the first snow of this year! Was none last year!

I'm fine thanks, the car needs a new bumper, wing mirror and a new tire!

That's the first snow for many of your chickens. They are probably wondering what all that cold and wet stuff is. Sorry about the car. Even here is Michigan where people are used to snowy winters, the first snow results in extra sliding and fender benders, as we say. We had 31 inches (79 cm) of snow in our area in November (it broke at all time record for November in our area) and then it all melted. Sorry, sharing crazy weather stories is a pass-time around here.

This is one of my favorite winter chicken photos that I took a couple of years ago.
