It should help her stay away from predators, I'd think.

It's been a few days since I checked in. I had to catch up on lots of great pics here. The look on those chicken's faces clearly say, "This snow has to go!" LOL

Yeah, she only ever flies when I come to feed them and she only flys from the top of the field to their sheds. And yes, it should hopefully come in handy!

Got quite a bit to update yous on!

Look what my friend got me for Christmas!!! I love them

. They're called Jemima, Grace and Claire. Never been so happy on Christmas for years

Off to work soon and then I can go give the girls some of their Christmas presents!

Well the snow is back! Just suddenly all came. Managed to get to the hens as it was starting to lay but getting to the ducks was a complete different story! Just managed to make it! The ducks are tucked up in their shed though as I planned to keep them in a day or two. Also want to try get them a bit more used to me because they are terrified of me!

Well after a long day out in the rain, I managed to get the two hen sheds cleaned out, then drive to the ducks and build them a platform/ramp out of the shed, then finished fencing their temporary run (which I did really badly) and then cleaned them out and let them out into their little pond. They were so happy! Been on the go since 11am! (Its now 4.51PM here)
