Picture thread of my hens!

That broody tried to warn you that your hand was at risk by giving you the broody stink eye - lol.

Your photos are so great you could submit 2 of your best for the BYC Calender if they had high enough resolution. But I don't know if your phone camera has a high resolution setting, even though takes really good looking photos. Pixels can be increased to a certain extent in a photo editing program after the fact though.

Here is the link to the calender thread in case you are interested: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/893232/2015-byc-calendar-your-pictures-needed

You may not feel like going to the trouble of submitting... Anyway, I enjoy your chicken photos no matter where they happen to be.
Thanks! Is the thread open to submit now? Not sure which pics I would send if I was to do it...

Yes it is open for submissions now, but judging by past years and how many submissions there are at this point, I think it will be open for at least a month more. Considering how large your photos display on this thread, it looks like the default setting for your camera phone is for posting digitally, so they are not high enough resolution for the calendar. It looks like you have a good phone camera, so I bet you can adjust the resolution of the camera. Here a link with some tips on phone cameras:

Don't feel pressured by my comments to submit to the calendar if you don't feel like it. I'm just saying that photos of your chickens in chicken paradise are pretty enough to be displayed on a wall.

I might post that link on the calendar thread, too, because a lot of people submitting photos forget to pay attention to the resolution.

It's because I copy and paste them from a facebook page I post them on, thats why they are so big!!

And I want to submit, I did last year :)

Wasn't expecting this yet!
