Well Baby Duck looks little behind Bella's butt. So you are pretty sure she is female. I am not sure at what age the male duck's tail start to show a curl. I certainly hope she is a girl so she can stay with the chickens.

Yes ive been told 100% girl because she quacks. And yes hopefully she is a girl so she can stay with the hens. I will get her a boyfriend to join her!

One year ago today I found Roger dumped in the woods. He had been there a few weeks and from the feathers I saw lying about, he rather had a lucky escape or wasn't originally there alone. He's now the boss of his own flock and he's the only cockerel I've ever had that I have liked since my original boy, Rocky.

Looks like my lot got lucky lastnight. Only just realised that after I painted the sheds with wood rot paint yesterday, that the pop hole was stuck to the shed, so the door timer wasn't able to shut them in last night and was therefore left open! Here some of them are enjoying some treats

If we have a big thunder storm, it sometimes messes up the electrical.. the door won't open or it won't shut.
So far we have been lucky.
