*PICTURES* 4 week old Barred Rocks-Is that your final answer?

So I'm hoping that these pictures of my "girls" will be the end of my debate of their gender. I believe we have one roo out of the four due to the late and long feathering of his "saddle feathers" I believe they're called. You should see my try and explain this to my non-chicken friends.

They still don't understand how I can tell them apart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All pullets. They're too young for saddle feathers, but those are all girls, IMO.

Really? Oh my. The top one though has red in his comb and under his chin already. Is that normal for pullets? Shoot...we need a bigger coop now.

It's normal for the wattles to start to pinken up at 5-6 weeks, but none of those have a cockerel's coloring. Now, there are some exceptions to the rule, but I see no boys in that bunch. I've raised these for several years, so I'm pretty confident. Been fooled only a few times.

Wow, what a difference two weeks makes! You should have seen me trying to get a still photo of my four! It was comical to say the least. Well, thanks a bunch! Now we can officially name everyone!

I have 12 BR pullets born on 4/7/09 and all of yours look just like mine. Although I'm not an expert, I think all of yours are girls as well.
