OMG that is a beautiful baby !!!!!!!

I didn't have time to go through all 31 pages, but, wow, what amazing animals you have. Beautiful creatures, some I've never seen before, the vulterines, never heard of em, amazing color !!!!!

Are you very strict on who buys your animals so that they don't fall into the wrong hands? or do you just supply zoos?

I'll have to go to the website.

Oh, love the zorses too. how neat and fun those are!!

Not sure of anyone in AL with camels for sale.

I have seen young males selling for around $3000 to $4000 and females from $5000 to $6000.

We have our mini horse & quarter horse stallions in with our camels for the winter and also some zebu cattle. During the summer they are on pasture with all types of livestock.

They do not need a heated barn, just a barn to stay dry and out of the wind along with good hay and feed.

The vulturines are awesome birds.

We do sell to private people and have people that we will not sell to.

What are the different types of dromedaries you know of? I only know of the "normal" and the "race type" .

We have the normal dromedary type, we did have a race type female, which are alot more slender than the normals.

OMG, your camels are FAT

I'm used to seeing them on the side of the road here to give tourists rides & while they aren't starving, yours look like mountains compared to them! Nice job.

There has been some cross breeding of Bactrian to dromedary, and an F1 creates a very large 1 humped camel that is good for draft work.
There are also specific color types out there.
I looked around and found this interesting website.

We have had both dromedaries and Bactrians and we purchased a F1 cross a few years ago to use in a zoo for the summer.

There are different colors, but that is just a color not always a different type. I know dromedary camels range in size and built according to the region they are from, but here in the states they are not region specific and you can find brown in all shades from light to dark chocolate, white & pintos. I have not seen any true Black camels in the USA.
