Pictures of barn wood coop exteriors

Does anyone have pictures of coops sided with reclaimed barn wood? I'm after a rustic look for my coop and plan on using old barn wood for the exterior. I would love to see how others have used it for their coop exteriors.

I dont have a pic I can attach to this post, but look on Facebook, and search Riverbend Farms. There are pics of my coop on there that I build out of sawmill slabs. If you go that route, try to pick out second cuts, as first cuts are ALOT more work.

I think it is a wonderful idea to use the old wood. I had posted a vintage coop last night that I found while doing my genealogy.

Here is the best one I have of mine. I even salvaged some metal from the barn roof to use for the coop.

Here are a couple of pic of my coop. DH built a wood shed and added my coop on the end. I like the rustic look of the rough sawn lumber.

Hey thats how Im doing mine. Im actually using fence wood. Ive just started the siding so you will see pieces missing. I have done what I can with the chop saw and hubby has to do the pieces that need to be ripped down with the table saw. Im not comfortable running that one. Rain keeps delaying me!
