pictures of eggs set for the 4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

When I cuddle my big tom, his "neck testicles" and "head penis" are my favorite parts to touch, so soft and warm and not at all ugly. :D Too bad the same cannot be said for the similar parts of a human male!

My updated photo showing my total of 33 eggs set. The first eggs were set on time at noon 12/11 with the remaining set yesterday about noon. I will update again with what breeds they are when I find out for sure which ones are which

Edit: The mystery has been solved. This is what you are viewing (not in any semblance of order):

7 Swedish Flower Hen
4 Welsummer
9 Icelandic
2 Orpington
7 BBS Cochin
4 Rhode Island Red

Thanks Jim! Now I really, really can't wait for Hatch Day

Lol. Glad you guys got a laugh out of that, lol. I'm getting SOO excited for this hatch. I'm somewhat envious of what some have in their incubators, but realize that I'm very fortunate to have what I have in mine. :) I hope everyone has an excellent hatch, can't wait for mine to start hatching and can't wait for people to start posting pictures of fuzzies!

Yup HEinz is the craziest and lately the BUSIEST! I don't know how you're keeping up with all of this craziness. I can't keep up with all of the reading of the posts. This is such a fun event - I hope you know how much we all appreciate you keeping up the tradition.

I do still have your old list from the beginning of the year, but it doesn't quite match anymore. I guess that happens when you're adding cool new breeds to the farm!

I loved my turkeys too. I bought 2 of them as chicks to raise for Thanksgiving and Christmas (in October with my IL's before they moved to AZ for the winter). My BIL helps me take care of my little farm ever since my husband passed away almost 3 years ago. He is out there almost every day, and since my turkeys were free-range, they followed him around everywhere! They were so curious. One tried to get into my truck with me and my kids when we were leaving for a horse show! But they were pretty stupid. We caught them drinking used motor oil one day when my BIL was changing the oil in my truck... When the day came to butcher them, my BIL begged me to give them a presidential pardon. I didn't, but it was REALLY hard... (They were delicious, BTW) I want to raise more for meat, but I also want to raise a breeding pair and keep them. I promised my kids I would raise a breeding pair next summer, then we would just keep raising our own after that. It made it a little easier on everyone to let "Christmas" and "Thanksgiving" fullfill their destinies...

I was going to order chicks from my local fleet store this spring, but now that I am attempting and having SO much fun hatching, I want to find someone here on BYC with turkey eggs so I can hatch my own!! What fun!!!

Houston, we have a problem. Besides just setting 26 more eggs, my original list must be off. Hmmm. I have 6 turners in my incubator each holding 41 eggs. Well, not counting these 26 eggs, I have 3 openings. What to do now. Ugh.
