Dunno about ducks but a goose who has a tufted of feathers on it's head would have a bump on their head too.

I like to go down to the river in spring and pick up tad poles they are all over in the shallows I think their cute. But they dif aren't as cute as goslings.Tadpoles :,)
It's not that I don't find them cute, they are the least cutest goslings

The tuft is growing in the wrong area.
Can you remember where you got him as a gosling?
I do remember 3 years ago a crow got in the cage where my babies were in and it killed 5 goslings a peachick and a duckling and injured one gosling severely on the head and as time pasted it healed and it looked exactly like a tuft.
Cool so it runs in the family.I hatched him from eggs that I got locally, and actually, was there yesterday and saw some of his relatives with the exact same bump!
