I still haven't figured out how to post pics already posted on BYC, but I did figure out how to make an album from them, so if you look at my album called The girls and Oreo, there are tons of pics of my EE's from Meyer's, w/ some egg pics too.

I got my order this morning from Meyer. I have a mixed bunch Here are a couple pics.


And her is a shot of my white Cochin on the left and an unkown on the right


and here is a pic of the Easter Egger. So far she is one of my faves. She found the food right away and chowed and she is larger than the rest. So far we are calling her Piglet.

Well I have had 3 more chicks die, plus the 1 DOA. So now from Meyer I have had 4 chicks die, I called them yestarday and they are giving me a credit towards my next purchase. I am not feeling real thrilled with Meyer at the moment but it is what it is. Hopefully the rest stay alive and well. Here are a couple more pics.

I am posting on this thread to update. I got my chicks from Chicken Scratch Poultry. 2 of the Araucana chicks had a problem eliminating and I had to cull them. My Wyandottes started laying around 7 months old. They started laying and then stopped a couple of months later and started molting so I have not gotten much for my efforts.
My Araucana hens started laying around 10 months old and could not pass the egg so I had to cull. This has happened twice. I only have one Araucana hen left and she has not laid yet...I am concerned she will be next. I can not say for absolute certainty that there is a breeder/line problem...but I have drawn MY own conclusion. I will be recieving chicks from Meyer in May 2013. I thought I would never order from a hatchery, however I do not want a huge order of chicks, I don't want to deal with all the roosters, and breeder birds are expensive. So I am going to try a hatchery.
