This guy/girl was an accidental hatch. I let him out with the others during the day and at night he sleeps separated from the flock. The flock treats him/her well. The rooster seems to watch over him/her so it must be a she?

I'm glad too, and surprised there has been no pecking. Correction, the little guy does peck at the dog if he gets in range. Maybe this is why.
