The white roosters? Have black feathers around their necks. The red/brown is my orphington hen, she's gentle. I have a rooster a bit more red an darker than her, too. My how they've grown! Getting ready to move them to the big coup for their permanant home.

I gave them some cherios for letting me take their glamor shots! :-)

I have no idea what kind of chicken this is, black and white. Any ideas?

Again, this one started out marked like a little brown quail but she? Turned out to be brown and black and the same size as the black and white above.
I could be so wrong as to the orphingtons, maybe they are Rhode island reds or something else. If anyone has any idea as to what kind these are, I would appreciate your input! Are those white roosters? With black around the back of their necks brahmas? Any help identifying breeds is appreciated!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Very pretty flock!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I agree with TwoCrows, you should post your birds on our What Breed or Gender is This? section for positively identifying your breeds. Your Orpingtons are actually Production Reds, the black and brown bird in both the top and bottom picture is an Easter Egger, and your white chickens with the black feathers on the necks appear to be Delawares (although I can't see them completely to be absolutely sure). These are all hardy, dependable, good laying breeds, although evidently not what you thought your were getting (at least in the case of the Production Reds). Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

X2 the black and white chickens are Delawares, your red chickens are production reds instead of buff orps, you have an EE as well. I think they are all hens.

Thanks everyone. I could never be dissapointed with critters, they are so wonderful!
