Pictures of my five chicks!

Take lots of pictures. Now that the addiction has nestled in, you'll want to remember back on how this all started.

Your chicks are adorable and I love your set-up; like everyone else mentioned, the veggies are great!

adorable!!! i wish i had some chickies. I have pullets, and I have the FEVER for chickies really badly! Ditto: on marbles in the water to prevent drowning. Absolutely precious feeders.

So cute! As the chicks grow you probably are going to want to raise up there feeders with them so you aren't cleaning them out everyday.

Thanks you soo much for all the replies! The chicks are all females. Four are Americanas and 1 is a Black Sexlink. They are four days old today and I will buy them some marbles ASAP. To tell you the truth, I bought the Eggplant and Pumpkin from a lady that sells hermit crab stuff online. I have hermit crabs and bought them from her for them originally but hey, why not use them for the chicks too! Her store is called "The Hermit Crab Addiction Store", you'll get it first result when you google it. I know her well and I think she'd love all you guys buying her hermit crab feeders for chickens. Lol, she'll get a kick out of that.

Thanks!

Also, the veggie feeders are great. There are not too many shavings in them. They come on little stands so I have not had one tipped over. I have not seen any poop in them either and the chicks just love to crowd around and eat. You could modify one to have a big bottle of feed feeding it so it would never run out probably.

Currently, one pumpkin is available. There is also a cake and a strawberry and an eggplant but they are unavailable for the time being.

Keep the camera handy and use it frequently. I had my first batch of chicks in April 2009. At the time I thought I took lots of pics but know when I look the pics now I realize I did not take very many. I am getting more chicks in April this year and will take many more photos. Before you know what happens this little chicks will be laying eggs. They grow up VERY fast! Today's digital cameras have sure made picture taking cheaper and easier.

OK I'm planning on getting daily pictures so I can print them and flip through to see how they grew.
