I love these guys! My wish list, a backyard full of Silkies. You have inspired me more than ever.

That's awesome! Silkies are a very sweet breed, though not very weather tolerant. :/ I had three, but lost one to a raccoon, and I am getting another one soon. The gray one is called Cookie, he's a big boy, and Peanut is the sweet baby that I take for walks on my arm all the time. She's a buff/bearded.

Aha, so I will be weather-watchful if and when I get some. Aw no... I'm sorry about the raccoon attack. Aw cookie? what a cool name. Hehe peanut, oh the kids around here would be so in awe seeing a chicken on someone's arm Buff/bearded--that is awesome. Thank you for introducing me to these beautiful guys!
