Thank you! It was our first attempt at a coop, and were unable to find real plans we liked, so we just went with the flow. . We tried hard to make it functional and attractive for us and sturdy and safe for them. Our neighbors look out onto it when they sit on the patio, so I wanted it to look pretty.

Its done for the most part, but I tend to find new things to add or change almost daily...which drives my hubby crazy.

Here's ours. It's only a 3x5 footprint, but is almost 6 feet tall inside so there's lots of room to roost. 8 hens live quite comfortably. They do nothing more than sleep and lay in there and spend all the rest of the time running around the yard

Dog house turned into chicken coop.....I found a lot of great ideas on this site and others. I have a German Shepherd that patrols our yard and protects my 3 single ladies. But, I will soon be switching to hardware cloth. Window is an old picture frame, nesting box I bought online and attached. Wood under coop and most of the12x12 pavers around coop are left over from other projects.
