We have a wild pair that have discovered life is pretty cushy at the crazy bird lady's house. They spend their days paddling in the open storm water culvert that runs through the bottom of our garden and coming up to us every time we go outside to demand food. They'll eat out of my hand no problem. They are very sweet and there's nothing cuter than a full speed duck waddle. They appear in Spring and stay until late Summer. Not sure where they go for winter in our warm climate.

Technically, No. But they are so cute and look similar so we will accept them I guess.
Was talking colour wise All ducks are mallard-based. Well, except for muscovies. But gray(Mallard) call ducks are the closest to the actual mallard. They're pretty much a smaller version of the actual mallard, selectively bred for smaller size and louder personalities for luring wild mallards for hunters.Technically, No. But they are so cute and look similar so we will accept them I guess.
