I did my own as well for the first time ^_^ the father is a partridge rock and many different hens, but I just picked my favorites!! Sadly, I lost all my adult birds to a coyote attack :-( Except 1. So, it's nice to have their offspring!!

This one is Merida :) PR roo X RIR hen. I love her feather patterns!

This is Hermione! My favorite of the bunch ^_^ PR roo X lavender/buff EE hen. I love the soft hues in her feathers.

Her brother, Flash. Same pairing. I love his coloring too! Keeping him I believe.

This is Copper. PR roo X brown red Ameraucana hen. Normal partridge, but I like the copper on her neck, hence her name.

Here is a group of them together :)

Wow I love hermione and flash! Please show more when they grow up :)

I've got two mixes that I adore. They have the same father, a red Cochin bantam:
Georgia (1).JPG

I first bred the Cochin bantam to a black Rosecomb hen:

And their daughter came out with Cochin-feathered feet and a slightly curled-under tail, but with her mother's head shape:

Later, the above red Cochin roo bred to a pretty brown hen I had. I was told she was a pure Rhode Island Red, but I don't think she was. She had a rose comb and pretty feathers that had little black spots in the brown:

And their son is eight months old now. He came out with, oddly enough, a strawberry comb. He looks mostly like his Cochin father, has the feathered legs and shiny red feathers, but whenever he drops a feather on the ground, it has black specks like his mother did, and even a few white specks! And he came out with a handsome green tail:

I also have one bird that's half booted bantam and half d'Uccle. He came out with poofy d'Uccle cheeks, white like his mother, but as he aged he developed a couple of silver feathers (his father was solid silver). I have three birds that are 3/4 d'Uccle and 1/4 booted bantam, and they all look pure d'Uccle.

That guy is stunning!! I want one with dark red feathers like that!

I like the second picture, looks like that bird was splashed with paint!
That hen is Bailey. Her mix is Buff Orpington, Golden Comet, which is Buff Comet, EE, and Isa Brown. She has another breed in her but I don't know what breed it is. Here is another picture of her.
