There are thousands of pictures and designs for coops here and I cant seem to find a pic of the one I am looking for. we built our initial coop 6 years ago for 6 chickens. We added another run and a plastic shed to the design to accommodate the 15 or so birds we now have. But my husband built the coop with this being a "fad" in mind, not expecting us to love them so much!
So I want to build a better coop now. And a friend is willing to help me with this. I had seen an acquiantances coop a few years ago that was ideal, but don't have contact with them anymore but someone else has to have something similar. Let me try to explain.
It was a bigger 6 foot tall stand up in it coop. You walked in the main doors and there was a small anteroom to store food etc. There were indoor coops for 2-3 separate sections so you can put a breeding pair or trio or broody mom in a separate area. Then there was room on a wall or up top for cages for sick bird or breeding etc.
