Well today turned out to be a nasty wet and foggy day so I went ahead and cleaned out the duck coop and put new shavings in and took some pictures!

Silver Runner Drakelet. He has a LONG neck!

Blue Runner Drakelet. He is taller than the Silver Drakelet but his body is a lot taller.

Black Bibbed Runner Duck. She has the cutest white spot on her head!

And a picture of all of them. The 3 Runners then there's the lonely Blue Swedish Crested Drakelet that hatched with the runners.

The Swedish Crested Drakes were wanting to know what the heck was going on in there!

Then they saw the camera and high-tailed it out of there!


Oh and word of advice don't paint the inside white!

I just repainted the walls thinking that the goats that use to live in there did that but nope!

I just wish more people have Crested Ducks! They are prone to health problems so that could be why..

Very cool looking ducks. Don't tell me white interior walls are a bad idea. I'm almost finished with my duck house and the inside walls are, you guessed it, white. They are so clean and pretty...I'm going to use one of my favorite phrases. I will reject your reality and substitute my own.
