PID Temp Controller

Would somebody please explain how a PID temperature controller would wire up for a Homemade
Bator. As simple as I am I need something to work in-line, in other words to cut the power off and on.

i just bought one off ebay this week. I installed it in a homemade GQF type incubator. The controller comes with a thermocouple for the temp measurement. The controller has two outputs, you can either use a solid state relay to control the heater or a mechanical relay. If you look on ebay at some of the user diagrams they have the wiring diagram. How familiar are you with electronics and circuits.

hold temp within 1/3 of a degree.
