Piece of comb gone

We just intervened in an opposum attack. Everyone is ok but my oldest girl lost a small piece of her comb. She is otherwise fine other than a bit of blood, not enough to run down or drip. I can get a photo tomorrow if needed (we're off grid and it's pitch black out there). Should I clean it with anything particular? Do I need to get some of that blue stuff?

You should spray some Veterycin so that it doesn’t get disinfected. Make sure the other hens don’t peck at it. Also make sure she’s eating and drinking, she should be just fine!

Also the blue stuff can be a good idea if she’s gong to be outside with the other hens!
