Pied? Duck update

hi there!

I had a Indian runner duckling that appeared to be pied or possibly bibbed but with mallard pattern.

Many people wanted an update, so here it is.

He’s just starting to get his drake colors in, as you can see.

What do you all think?

He is so pretty! My 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 fawn and white runners looks nothing like him. Very unique!

I’m actually not sure, I purchased hatching eggs which is what he came from. All that I know is that they had mallard, pencilled, white, and black runners. So any of these could potentially be his parents.

I know mine came from a chocolate dad and one of 6 fawn/white runners. You know the funny thing is that my Blu is a loud mouth plus she does this funny thing with her head that only one of my f/w girls does. I'm wondering if Dilly might be her mother. Who knows but it's fun to speculate.

His name was Trixie, but once we realized he was a boy we had to adjust it to Trix!
