My husband got me a pig because I have always wanted one! Fast forward 3 months and I think she is going to have piglets! I don't know what breed she is or how old she is, but i do know she hates people and I just love her! This is a 1 months difference photo! The top photo was just taken today. What do I need to do? I'm new to pigs! Thank you!

Her milk has dropped. Hay or straw asap. She will become short tempered if you tamper with the potbelly offspring FYI.. 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days is the rule of thumb.

Ok thank you! She already is very short tempered so I will be cautious! Thank you!

Ive tried hand feeding only, going out every night and working with her, and bringing treats and she is better but still won't let you touch her unless cornered. What do I do if she isn't a good mother? My husband raised 4h pigs when he was little but never had piglets.

Give her some space to give birth. Understand her need to have her area where she can safely bring new life into this world. Lots of good bedding (straw, wood chips, or blankets to keep her from crushing her babies) with a decent roof to keep out the elements ( rain, snow, predators, etc.) with access to food and water should be sufficient.

She will be fine.... :)
