Hi, somebody gave me five pigeons. I've had them for about two months and they haven't laid any eggs. What do I need to do to get them to breed? I'm new to pigeons so I don't know what I'm doing

No, I didn't. They are sharing a pen with my quail. What kind of nest box should I give then?
You can make the nest boxes from just about anything.. from large empty plastic containers to wooden crates and boxes.

Or you can make your own from some old wood.

They should be big enough to fit 2 nest bowls, the breeding pair of pigeons, and their young.

You need to put up more boxes then you have pairs to reduce them fighting over them.

They will nest in a shallow bowl you put in.. or a cut down cardboard box.. and provide them with sticks and straw, etc, which they will use to make their nests.

The next boxes are best positioned head height (your head) so they are easy for you to look into and clean.. handle squabs, etc.

Just do a search on the net for pigeon nest box designs.... remember they don't have to be fancy... just a simple wooden box will do.
