Hey so I have a pair of pigeons they had their squabs 13 days ago and one of the squab lost its life to a predator since then the henpigeon has been uninterested with the cock pigeons and has been running away from him since then even when the male tries to court the female just leaves the coop and stays out for long what should I do In such a case cause they are really freaking me out

Thanks for joining BYCand sorry you did not get a reply sooner. I had a predator enter my loft and take 3 birds, two of them also about 13-14days, recently. I was very saddened. It was the first time ever. This is very stressful for the birds and can cause changes in behavior. I would say make sure everything is now secure and be patient your birds will recover.
