You should go by his crop, don't feed again until his crop empties from previous feeding. Feed only during the daytime.
Can you post a picture of him. Babies 8+ days seem to do okay on 2 good feeds per day.

I looks pretty big and well feathered. It won't be long before he can eat on his own.

Until about 4 days old squabs need digestive enzymes. You can get this by making something like the MacMilk recipe and adding digestive enzymes such as Pancrezyme. Or you can make things much easier and just buy Kaytee Exact baby bird formula, which has digestive enzymes in it and seems to work just fine for pigeons and doves (not by personal experience, but just be hearing from rehabbers and such).
