Quacking Pigeon
Crowing
These are my following plans for my pigeons. During the next few years I’ll be updating this on updated plans, and progress with the birds.
Rollers:
As they don’t roll, I may crossbred them to other pigeons with similar markings. But the show type ones I’ll try and keep together.
Fantails:
Breed more coloured birds, as majority of pairs and young are white. Later worry about type and tail, as birds with better tail shape can be bred in later.
Kings:
Continue trying to breed with other large pigeons, type isn’t biggest concern just size. Selectively breed colours later.
Aim is to get a bird that has a nice coloured plumage, has a relatively rounded body that can be slightly long at the back. Tail held up slightly to above wings. Face well feathered, thick neck. Good weight that is quite heavy.
