pigeon question

so I don't own pigeon and never have, I just own chickens. but I love beautiful unique looking birds, and recently I saw a beautiful pigeon. she had featherd feet and was white and brown in color. and her tail feathers looked amazing.
so now I'm wondering, how is it to own pigeon? is it alot different then owning chickens?
I own rheinlander bantam chickens, could pigeons live with them or do they have to be separated?
and do pigeon owners collect there eggs like chicken owners do?

sorry if this is a dumb question, I just don't know anything about pigeons but I think there so beautiful.

Pigeons do best in a pen/aviary/loft with other pigeons. Pigeons only lay eggs when they are nesting and trying to raise squabs. The hen lays 2 eggs in each nest and she and her mate incubate them and feed the squabs. Pigeons are great fun and beautiful too.

I do not recommend pigeons living with chickens. Though, there are no disease risk. Chickens are able to seriously injured pigeons, so be careful. If you do try, add perches where the chickens can't get to. Up high...

DO IT! You won't regret it. Where is some of my flock. Mostly homers, with a few of the smaller ones with short beaks being Portuguese tumblers.
