pigeon question

I am moving out of chickens and into pigeons. I think that in a few years the urban chicken movement will become interested in pigeons, too. I hope so, anyways.

It's a good point about urban chickens. Pigeons get a lot of exposure on sites like this!
What kind of pigeons will you be getting? Or do you already have some?

I am getting some Chinese owls and rollers shipped next week. I have 5 homers now, and 2 WOE tumblers. I wasn't sure if I'd like them or if they would do well for me so I waited a while before getting more. What kinds do you have?

Me? I have Ukrainian skycutters and doneks. They're both performance breeds. The doneks are divers and the skycutters just sort of hover. They rise straight up in the air and float like bubbles :) lots of videos of both on YouTube.

Good to see another young person in the hobby. I got my first pigeons when I was 9 and have had them since.
Over the years I have had:
-Kings
- Homers (which I still have, and started racing in 2008)
- Birmingham Rollers
- West of England Tumblers
- Lahores
- Runts
- Carneau
- Nuns
- Fantails
- Indian Fantails (still have)
- Chinese Owls (still have)
- Sattinetes (still have)
- Frillbacks (still have)
- Valencian Figuritas (still have)
- Domestic Flying Flights

Pretty sure that's it. I think, haha. I started out with 2 pairs of Utility kings, then got homers months later. They are my favorite, as I think they are the most impressive. My rollers were cool but they were too slow and stupid for the amount of hawks I have. Cute birds though, and neat to watch fly. Good parents too.
Oh and I have a couple ferals, one that trapped and keeps coming home from tosses with my birds, and another the animal shelter brought me.

So do I
