Pigeon scalped

I found one of y week old pigeons totally scalped tody from her eyes to the backof her head. The skull is exposed but intact, I brought her in. She is hand feeding well andbegs for food. I am keeping her warm and neoporin on the the open wound and surrounding skin. I had one before that had exposed skull but not this bad, and he lived. I want to keep it open to air, any other ideas anyone know if it is possible for skin to regrow over top of entire skull. Would be thankful for any help.

Depending on how badly it is scalped, skin may grow back over the skull. Watch your birds. There is an agressive bird, most likely a cock who is scalping. He may repeat this behavior. I cull over agressive birds who go around nest fighting and scalping.
