I know this is a long shot, but this is a shout out to any Australians here; Do you want a pigeon?
What? You don't want a Pigeon? Don't be ridiculous. Here; have a pigeon. Or seven.
7 Pigeons who have been de-mited and wormed (as a preventative, no lice or mites seen, I do this to all animals who come home with me). I've seen 3 eggs laid over the course of 5 days so I think we have at least couple of ladies in the bunch. They aren't aggressive and they make the most delightful "coo". They are also rather used to people and haven't made a single escape attempt. If anyone wants to see closer pictures of individual birds, just let me know and I'll take some more.
I'm only their foster home until I can find better accommodations. I got them because the only other place for them was the pot. They are in with my quail, so the sooner I can get rid of them the better.
