I don't have pigeons and i know nothing about them but I saw some once before and they had feathers like a male turkey had and they were all puffed up. It looked so cool! What breed is that?

Most likely Fantail pigeons

Yes, those are fantails

There are Standard Fantails (smaller, no crest, clean legs, holds head way back with chest stuck out) and Indian Fantails (larger, normal stance, crested and muffed). Both have huge fanned tails (thus the name) like turkeys and peacocks. Only they are spread 24/7. Sometimes they relax their tails and hold them down, but most of the time they are held up.

If you ever get fantails though, don't do what I did as a kid and let them cross with rollers. That's one goofy looking bird, let me tell you. Some feathers stuck up in a fan and some went straight out. It was hilarious! Lessons learned I guess...

I absolutely love American Fantails! I would like to get some more, and I'd also like to try the Indian Fantails- beautiful!!! Have you gone on pigeontalk? pigeons.biz, or google it.
